An unprotected email address is like handing the keys to your house over to a  stranger.
An unprotected email address will be easy grabbed by spammers using web spider,
viruses and other type of page gathers. Within ninety days spam will start to flood the
email box and it will never stop.

Email filters do remove most of it, but it will also removes the genuine email as well.
Prevention is the better option.

It will only take one unprotected email address on the website for the spam to arrive.
